The bag is made to carry a blanket as well as other things you might need while picnic-ing and when you empty it, it forms a table.
For the project our teacher assigned us to spend a while in lowes or some other hardware store, and after looking through all the rows, we needed to spend $15 on items that we could build a purse out of.
I purchased: Canvas from an patio chair cushion, a dowl rod, several fake wood linolium strips and some nuts and bolts.
I've used it several times and it works great. I'd like to make a more sleek version without all the washers, but it works surprisingly well for what is made of.
